New Year’s Resolution
I don’t normally do this. Nor do I set big huge unattainable goals for myself. Talk about setting yourself up for failure!
However, in an effort to be more green (eco-friendly) while using less green ($$$), I have made one resolution…goal…whatevs. I’m going to try and do this all year.
So what the heck am I doing?
During the year 2010, I will not buy any new shoes and/or clothing. The exceptions to this include personal items, such as undies, slips, tights, leggings, and tank tops. Shoes and clothing can only be bought from thrift stores, consignment stores, and online vintage sites.
I figure you can help keep me in check, right? And, of course, I will be blogging about my thrift store finds. DUH! This will be tough. So long Forever 21. Farewell Target. *sadface* Hello Goodwill. Welcome Market Publique.

that’s a good one. I don’t think I could do it… ok, ok…I know I couldn’t. so good luck.
p.s. the sad face in the target and the message in the forever 21 box made me laugh out loud. no joke.

You gotta come see me for a shopping trip. We have the jackpot for thrift finds. I guess being in a very wealthy area helps. I was totally against it, but I’ve made some awesome purchases. But anyways good luck can’t wait to see what you find!

Good for you! You know its really not that tough, the one part that I find is the toughest is shoes! Cause of sizes and all. I wear the size most people do, so I don’t often find what I like. I will be watching to see you pull this off. I too love Forever 21(am I told old for that), but you can find their stuff in lots of thrift stores.

You guys are great. I’m already having shopping withdrawals…I want some black skinnies and some red chucks. But I will search ebay for used ones.
