New. Warm. Happy.

See the coat above? I’m going to Old Navy today to try it on and hopefully make the big purchase, because I’ve had the coat below for about 12 years…since my grandmother bought it for me in high school. The inner lining is shredded and the buttons keep popping off because, apparently, I’m not the same size I was in high school. Time for a new one! I plan to use it to it’s fullest in Seattle over Thanksgiving…and then for another 12 years. You can check out the awesome selection of Old Navy’s Wool-Blend Double-Breasted Coats here. They get great reviews. It looks like this bargain coat ($70) is well worth it and not lacking in the quality of a $150 coat. I sure hope that’s the case!

P.S. I’ve got a couple of product reviews coming up for all you fine ladies out there. One is a must have and the other…well, sucks. I also can’t wait to tell you about my new job once I get settled in. Happy Tuesday!

Evan-the purchase is well worth it. I own two pea coats from Old Navy (one exactly like the picture above and a shorter in length one). The one I own similar to the picture you posted I bought in 2001 and it’s still intact. That jacket has been through 10 years of cold Chicago winters. Old Navy jackets are great and worth the splurge!
